Friends of Palestine Tasmania is a not-for-profit community organisation working to engage Tasmanians in promoting a just peace for the Palestinian people based on international law and UN resolutions.

November 29 –Tassie Dads Run Bruny Island Ultra for Palestine
Bruny Island and Gaza are roughly the same size, around 360 km² - a group of dads will run the ultra marathon, fundraising for PANZMA (Palestinian Australian New Zealand Medical Association) — you can support by donating at https://panzma.org/where-most-needed/- reference “Tassie Dads”.
Also on 29 November in Hobart – you can join the annual Run for Palestine around Salamanca and the docks area.

- Reinstatement of recognised humanitarian organisations to deliver aid to Gaza.
- An immediate, permanent and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza.
- Australian recognition of Palestinian statehood at the June 17th UN conference, which is consistent with Labor Party policy.
- Sanction Israeli PM for crimes against humanity; cut economic, trade, cultural ties.
- Application of a two-way arms embargo on Israel
- Making Israel accountable via the International Court of Justice and International Criminal Court for aiding and abetting war crimes and illegal settlements.
- Expulsion of the Israeli Ambassador to Australia.
